Two Georgia Inmates Escape After Murdering Guards
Putnam County, GA – Two correctional officers were murdered Tuesday morning June 13, by two inmates who then escaped.
According to WFTV9, the inmates and correctional officers were working a detail. Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills said that preliminary information from the field was that as “many as two” corrections officers were murdered during the escape. The incident occurred along GA 16 while transporting prisoners during a work detail.
A massive manhunt is underway for the two inmates involved in the incident, Ricky Dubose, and Donnie Russell Rowe, who were last seen in a dark green 2004 Honda Civic RBJ6601.
Donnie Rowe was serving life without parole for two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of armed robbery, possession of a firearm during crime, and now he has murdered a hero. He is originally from Tennessee and is a known sociopath.
Donnie Rowe is described as a white male, 43 years old, 6’1″, 181 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes.
Ricky Dubose was serving time for aggravated assault, armed robbery, burglary, four counts unlawfully entering vehicles, two counts of identity theft, two counts of fraudulent credit card usage, robbery, theft, four counts of credit chard theft, criminal trespassing, eluding police, obstruction, and more. He is originally from Comer, Georgia.
Dubose is described at a white male, 24 years old, 6’1″, 140 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes.
